About Us
The foundation for Shelter Interiors was laid when Tricia and Carolyn met at their first interior design jobs after college. A friendship was formed out of their love of design and the trials and tribulations of their first job. After pursuing separate opportunities over the following years they joined forces to establish Shelter Interiors.
Our Practice
Shelter Interiors has an enthusiasm for the collaborate design process, whether working with a family to create a beautiful home or collaborating with a team of architects, engineers and builders to create a dynamic and creative workspace. Their skills with textiles, color and materials help them to create personalized, comfortable and appealing environments. Shelter Interiors works closely with clients to fulfill both their needs and their dreams. Shelter Interiors was recently recognized as one of 100 leading design firms in Connecticut Cottages & Gardens "Little Black Book" of Interior Designers.
